Snowdrop beginning

Snowdrop first came to me in a meditation, I saw her emerging from the cold, dark, frozen earth of winter to bring the fresh hope of spring and new beginnings.

She told me: "I am snowdrop and I speak with a heart of purity and bring hope for the new world of love and harmony."

And I was told that I am Snowdrop.

In the meditation, I transformed into a snowdrop, my roots deeply growing into the earth, my lush green leaves thrusting upward with vitality and my delicate white flower head bowed down with humility.

I was reminded that the most important connection for me is to the earth, and not to get distracted from this.

As I emerged from my meditation, suddenly out of nowhere I remembered myself as a child obsessively drawing snowdrops, I had no idea why... until now!

Then a poem unfolded in my mind:

Beautiful snowdrop
so pure and white
unfolding through the snow
on this cold winter’s night.

Your delicate heart
so divinely open
unfolding to the heavens,
sweet angels have spoken.

Heralding change
and a new beginning,
beautiful snowdrop
how your heart is singing.

Your voice so clear,
your song so bright,
your magical unfolding
reveals God’s true light.
