In one meditation the Earth showed me a beautiful faceted diamond.
I know this was me. It is also all of you. And I was being shown that we are here to shine our light out into the world through the facets of our own uniqueness. She also showed me the entrance to a mine, and then rocks and clods of earth. She was showing me that here on this Earthly plane, diamonds are buried deep within, and that when they are excavated they are far from the beautiful diamonds we are dazzled with in our jewellery. They are rough, dirt covered clumps. She told me: "Dig deep for your treasure, my child, dig deep and be gentle with yourself. Take the time to love and appreciate what is deep inside. It may be covered in rock and soil, but it is nonetheless a diamond set to shine. Hone that treasure. Love that treasure. Even in its infancy it is beautiful beyond all measure. Compare it not to the treasures of others that you perceive to be already shining, perhaps more brightly. Often the biggest, brightest treasure is yet to be unearthed. And simply needs to be discovered and tended to with love, appreciation, attention, practice, honing, allowing. Resist judgement and allow your treasure to unfold so you can shine your light through the facets of your own uniqueness." © Snowdrop Thanks to studiopratisaad0 @ pixabay.com for the photo
