The day after Om Tat came, I found myself in a dry dusty clearing with Red Eagle whilst in the depths of meditation. It was day time and we were alone by the remains of a fire, with dusty ash all around. I was being shown a lesson in simplicity, and the importance of appreciating simplicity and the great things that can come from simplicity. There was a strong horse tethered to a bare tree. A rattle snake passed by, a bird flew from my hands. In the end I was with the tribe at night with the fire burning brightly. I was taken up to the stars and danced across the Great Bear.
I seemed to get messages about past life times that were significant for me, being Chinese, Egyptian and Native American Indian, and was told and shown I had clues to these in my childhood. Then Red Eagle spoke: “We have shown and told you many things, and today our message is to take you back to basics. Keep things simple, you do not need anything complicated. I have taken you to a simple, dusty spot. There is nothing special here. See how bare everything is, the bare twigs, the ash and the dust. But you can still connect to the great Earth Mother. You can still go within. See the beauty that manifests when you sit still and touch our dear Mother. See the Rattle Snake make her way across your path, hear her rattle as she passes. She is taking the new energy across the earth. She is working in the dust, she does not need gold or jewels. Her mission is of the utmost importance and she remains humble. The little bird has also manifested from the dusty silence and it’s young heart beats with warmth and happiness. See how she flies out into the world when you set her free. So beautifully she flies, soaring to such heights from such humble dusty beginnings. You felt the power and worth of the horse tethered to the tree. The power with which he would transport you to wherever you wanted to go. These are all humble creatures of this dusty domain, as am I. Yet our connection and appreciation of the Earth Mother are great and our lessons are far-reaching. You do not need to seek, you simply need to down-size, to stay in your humble domain and appreciate what is there. For the true treasure is always within, and is much easier to find when pared down to simplicity. As you go within and appreciate, you gather around you the warmth of the fire and the company of those with like minds, the stars become yours to dance with and play. Your strength becomes their strength, their light becomes your light. We are here to support and remind you. You are magnificent in your unique simplicity. Remember even the dust brings forth greatness, the mighty rattle snake, the powerful stallion, the flight of the soulful bird. The stars shine the same on every dimension, no matter how sparse and how simple. The stars shine more brightly when there is less to distract you. Simplicity is an important key. Always humbly accept the least you are given, for it is a treasure. Remember this." © Snowdrop 2021
