The Art of Being Action
I have always had many, many interests and I am always starting and getting excited about new things to learn. The problem with this, however, is that I would be easily distracted and I would find my energy diffused. I would sometimes feel like I was "Jack" of many trades but master of none.
Earlier this year I had been deciding that I needed to be less distracted. I wanted to become clearer about my purpose and direction. At this time, a Chinese warrior in metal armour, appeared in my mediation, who told me he was here to teach me ‘discipline’.
As he spoke he demonstrated his moves, very slowly, crouching down, stretching out his legs and arms in various poses of his martial arts. He paid close attention to his sword.😀🥳.
He said, “I am here to give you the power of discipline. I want you to choose and pare down. Learn one thing well. Do it over and over, refining your art.
Take action in simplicity, but in taking action, being action is important. Not doing action, being action. Perfect your moves, own your power and the simplicity of choosing and repeating.
You are enough. Have one thing you love, you do not need many loves. This does not enhance you.
Learn your lessons. Be the action. Do what will sustain you, that which you will never tire of.” 🙏💖
In that moment I got it, as I breathed in the crisp clarity of my newly found discipline.
Thanks for Samuel Leo of pixabay.com for the artwork.😊👍

That's fantastic, we simply need to be in the moment, and be prepared to stay there consistently, repetitively and with focus. To hone our art and skills. Thank you.
