Mystical eye
Looking out from the deep
Always stepping sideways
Your soul secrets to keep

Side-stepping truth
Pincers at the ready
Keeping at bay anything
That stirs up an eddy

Sidling through life
Avoiding your calling
Hiding in life’s crannies
Knowing you are stalling

But I am crab
Designed to walk sideways
You are very different
With forward moving highways

I am a mirror
Revealing what you do
Encouraging instead
Your true calling to pursue

Take your own path
Unfold your own design
Time for forward motion
To let your true self shine
