movement in the stillness

One day a couple of years ago I was soul searching with Mother Earth, when I was at a loss for my next steps. As I reflected on her words today, I saw truths so relevant for today. They always bring tears to my eyes. These were her heart-felt words of wisdom: 

"It is a simple process, it is so simple. Nothing is complicated. You just need to remember to connect with me. The lessons are in nature. You look to nature and nature teaches.

It’s about taking the time to stop and look and listen and see. Simply become one with nature and nature has many lessons to teach.

You do not need to do anything, just be one with nature. This is what has been lost and this is what will now be gained. The stopping and being, and the joy, and the love you find in nature. The joy and the activity in nature too. 

The activity that you humans have become used to has been an activity that has been detached from nature, detached from the divine. This is a different sort of activity to the activity of nature.

The activity of nature is one which is filled with joy and connection, filled with joy and love for who we are. Full connection to the truth of ourselves and who we are in connection with everything else, in cooperation.

So it is not that there is not activity, but to make a change from the activity of the human world that is detached and unconnected, there needs to be a stopping and a stillness.

There can still be movement in the stillness, there can still be movement in the stillness. See? [She moved like the ocean] I am perfectly still but I am in movement. So there can be movement in the stillness. But it is different from the busy-ness of the human world.

Move from your head and into your heart. This is something that is very, very simple, very, very subtle, but very, very profound and very, very deep, and very, very infinite and it is the deepest well, the deepest, deepest well… the most infinite space, the most infinite sky, the most vibrant colours, the most beautiful sound.

In the movement of the stillness of nature you can experience this so lovingly, so tenderly, so beautifully, so preciously. It is so profound and yet so simple. Keep it very, very simple and come home to who you truely are.
