Kingfisher

Today, Kingfisher came on my morning walk. He was so beautifully and brightly attired and flew in front of me weaving his way from one side of the road to the other, showing off his gorgeous coral chest and his blue/green back and wing feathers. He stopped on each side of the road momentarily, on a post, branch or wire, to look at me. I knew he was telling me it was time to share his story.

For a while I always noticed kingfishers sitting on the electricity wires. Then a couple of years ago, over two or three days I particularly noticed them around me and really appreciated their beauty. I loved them, but I didn't think any more about it, until a couple of days later, when I settled into meditation and kingfisher came to me. 

In my minds eye I saw him sitting on the wire, and I saw him dive into a beautifully crystal clear stream in a forest. When I saw him pigeons started cooing (literally around the house), a sound I associate with home/childhood, as pigeons were often cooing when I was growing up. I felt really emotional and then heard the message from Kingfisher. Simple, beautiful, the message was personal for me, but I was told  I was to share it too:

“I am kingfisher and you notice me don’t you? Did you hear how the dove called when you noticed me? I am home to you, I am your higher self. See how I sit so still, so contemplative, so relaxed, patiently waiting and noticing. You always notice me and you feel the stirring in your heart of connection. We are intertwined. See the beautiful teal green of my feathers and the coral of my breast. Such joy and pleasure from the simplicity of my presence. 

I go fishing, always close to home and now is time for you to go fishing close to your home. Sit in quite contemplation, clothed in the teal and coral lights of joy and fish deep for your true self, for your salvation.

How refreshing it is to fish in the crystal streams of the Earth’s forests. So nourishing and revitalising. This is how you will feel when you fish close to home in the streams of your own life, diving deep and rediscovering the magnificence of who you truely are.

Sit still, poised, regal, simple, humble, with love in your heart. Be poised to be gentle, reflect and go fishing. 

Connect with me when your heart is bereft and I will make it whole again, for we are intertwined and our path is one path. I am here to guide you and I love you so much.

I have been waiting so long and you have seen me, but you have only just made the connection. I am so quiet and humble, but you notice my quiet magnificence, the beauty of the clothes I wear, the colours of love and healing. 

Dear child, you are in my heart and I sit waiting patiently for you to attend to yourself, to me. I am here to help you to heal, to be with you, and to carry you home.

Together we are children of the greatest creator of all, and I have been sent to be with you. My offerings are humble and gentle. 

Know I am giving you, with my vibration of love and healing, my patience and insight.”
