I woke up yesterday morning with John Lennon’s Imagine playing in my head.
Then I heard:
“Your imagination is gold. It is the language of the divine. It is divine. It is the creative force, how the creator expresses. Think of the most amazing inventions, works of art, writings, they all come from the imagination.
So often in your world, the imagination is dismissed as something less than, as less valid. You are told dismissively, ’Oh, it’s just your imagination’, or (usually as a put down) ‘You have a vivid imagination…’. Rather imagination was gifted to be celebrated. I imagine instead, 'Wow, that’s amazing, thank goodness you have such a beautiful imagination.' 'Wow, let’s celebrate your wildest imaginings, they are a treasure to behold'.
Imagination is the creative source. It gifted from remembrances across all time and space. It is the realm of infinite possibilities. It is the rich, fertile soil where the seeds of your tomorrows are grown.
Imagination is the most vivid colours, the most beautiful sounds, the most delicious tastes, the sweetest breath, the most ancient yearning, the most heartfelt rhythm, the most primal voice, sweet angels singing, the sweetest, ripest, most enchanted unfolding. It is becoming. It is existing. It is.
So for yourself and those around you, dismiss no more. Rather encourage, ‘Wow, thank you beautiful vivid imagination. You are always welcome. We love, honour and encourage you. You are amazing. You are magnificent. You are divine’.
Imagine a world where your imagination is encouraged and nurtured! Always cultivate your imagination. It is a divine gift.”
So let’s always honour and encourage our imagination and that of those around us. What have been your wildest imaginings today?
